Usually they will cover the cost of the assessment but not the cost of any orthotics that might be prescribed.

Prices
It costs £85 for an adult podiatric
biomechanical assessment which may include treadmill gait analysis if appropriate
and a GaitScan with a full colour printout / report of your individual scan.
An orthotic prescription costs from £80 up to £225
depending on prescription requirements, specification and longevity.
For children the price is negotiable depending on the age and
developmental stage of the individual.
