Lindsay visits Liverpool Football Club as required to
screen or treat any players that need her specialist opinion. She will be carrying
out pre-season biomechanical screening in summer 2006. |
 |
Lindsay worked as the podiatrist for the England
women's senior football squad in preparation for, and throughout the recent European
championships. She is also working for them regularly screening the squad at
Loughborough University. |
 |
Axis Podiatry is now receiving referrals for any employees of the Greater Manchester
Fire and Rescue Service that require a biomechanical assessment and/or orthotic
prescription. |
 |
The service provided by Lindsay of AXIS podiatry is superb.
The fact that she is able to assess and treat the players at our training ground
is an added bonus.

Since February 2006 Lindsay has been working on a consultancy
basis for Bolton Wanderers football club, assessing and treating those players
with specialist biomechanical requirements. |
As a GP in a busy practice I often see patients requiring
a biomechanical assessment and orthotic prescription. I refer any of my patients
looking for a private practitioner to AXIS as I was very pleased with the treatment
I myself received from Lindsay.

We were very impressed with the service
provided by AXIS Podiatry. Lindsay carried out thorough biomechanical
assessments, video gait analysis and GaitScans on three of our
players in April 2004. The written reports that followed were
very professional.

‘If we have
a player who is injured and needs a podiatry assessment to look at the underlying
cause and prevent a recurrence we always send our players to Lindsay. She gives
an honest opinion and if required she prescribes good quality orthoses.

Lindsay came to the club in the 2007-2008
season to assess and treat 3 injured players whom have since all returned to
playing and are now injury-free wearing the orthoses she prescribed.

I
have referred several players to Lindsay for an assessment and GaitScan and have
been impressed with the level and quality of the service she offers. She will
always try and see them as soon as possible and will only prescribe orthotics
if needed’. We are considering a screening programme as a means of injury
prevention. Christine Holmes, Physiotherapist, Salford Reds. |
